I think the only time you have a problem is when you have one b&g piece in a sea of color, and even then, it can still look badass. The problem is that if it's not a really well done b&g, it can look unfinished next to all the color stuff.

I wouldn't mix a black and grey like yours with a very flashy colour piece (lianne moule, jime litwalk or so), but there is definitely nothing wrong in adding some colour.
