It does have to do with the risk of a seizure -- getting a tattoo is considered a stressful event for some people, so if that kind of stress is a trigger for you, proceed with caution. If you're in a good place though, seizures are controlled, feeling healthy, etc. then there's no reason why you can't get a tattoo.

That in itself isn’t dangerous. When I had a couple of painful procedures, the respiratory therapist kept reminding me to breathe. Perhaps the person doing the tattoo might not have noticed if you hyperventilated and fainted. If you have had seizures before, you might want to communicate with your doctor.

Anybody at any age can have epilepsy.Wishful thinking isn't going to help her or you.If the neurologist saw seizure activity in the EEG then you are ahead of many peoples since many EEG's come back normal.As for the neurologist and the medication he is right and does know what he is talking about.
